Altereds / Good day at the dyno

Went to the dyno with my friend to dyno his new comp motor . This is by far the best one he has built yet . We made 9 pull's and this thing is killer ! 324 cubes and 940 hp at 9700 rpm That's 2.9 hp per cube and that's with regular oil the good race oil is worth another 8 to 10 hp .

I am seriously thinking about the change over to nitro with my car . I plan on doing it this winter but I have a lot of questions . I know I have to drop my compression to ? How about valves I use titanium valves are they ok or should I use something else What would be a good time to call you I have too many questions to type . Thank's Bill

Hi Spud I am not shure if this would work for me or not . If I wanted to pick my car up a little let's just say 3 tenth's do you think going to m5 methanol or 20 pecent nitro would do it . The only problem I see is my compression is 14.8 . I do run  pretty big cam 280 Int 294 Ex 114 CL I run a pair of Ron's terminators on a sheetmetal intake a 0and a half pump 37 nozzle 88 main jet no high speed The way the car sit's right now it will go high 7.40's and that's with a tight 6400 converter and 1560 lbs . I have sprayed it with a 200 shot of nitrous and gone 6.94 . I would like to be able to run the 7.0 pro class but you can't run nitrous . Also if I took all the nitrous stuff off it would be about 60 lbs lighter Thank's Bill
