Scott Weney is now racing through the pearly gates and doing it at full throttle.

Scott is survived by wife Candi, Son’s Rory & Dillon, Brother’s Michael & Gary, Sister Terri, Parents Walter & Vonda. The entire Weney family wants to express their gratitude to everyone who has prayed and offered support during these difficult days. They also wanted to clearly state that Scott spent his last moments at a place that he considered ‘home,’ which is the drag strip.

His accomplishments are many and too numerous to list, but his most impressive include winning the 2000 IHRA Funny Car World Championship, becoming the President of S&W Race Cars, and his latest achievement of becoming a race series promoter; forming S&S Race Promotions with Scotty Richardson and launching the ‘Fun in the Sun’ Race Series.

Please keep Scott and his family in your prayers. We will post additional details as soon as they become available. Also, please direct all inquiries to Jill Canuso at jillc@swracecars.com or 1-800-523-3353 ext.112
With kind regards ~ The Weney family & the team at S&W Race Cars

Here it is, I know the image is cut-off but that's the way I got it:

hows that supposed to lever the car...the wing would have to be as big as my dinning room table for it to work the same as the one on car now

I asked Blackwell about shrouds, His explination was that some tracks did not have the equipment (the Safety Safari has) to remove the cage with the shrouding attached, and that could lead to a liability issue  if it ever came into play.  If the racer wasnt so lawsuit happy, you would not hear from the NHRA at all and the rule book would be about 15 pages
that makes sence
