Bill glad to see you guys had a good outing.

Today we moved our 1971 rear engine car from one side of the shop to the other :D

What was the ET
What was the E.T.? If it's anything like my shed (shop), it would take all day. A coffee, ponder over how to do it, another coffee, shift gear out of the way, another coffee and a chat to the crew chief/missus, start moving race car into position, shake head, reposition into better location. By then it's beer o'clock. Then sit in car doing race car noises. Finish beer with a stupid grin on face.

Drag Racing / Re: Stagging Rules / Etiquette

I know I'm only running a HA/GR here in Australia but when I took up racing 4 years ago, one of the first articles I read was about start-line procedures and etiquette. It said to wait for the other competitor to be at least near the stage beams before pre-staging. I usually pre-stage, wait for them to pre-stage and then stage. The trouble is not everyone has read the same article but at least I know I'm doing it the courteous way. Courtesy goes out the window when the lights run down .
