Suspended front & rear, i suspect it's an altered. Looks like the pilot sits in front of the rear end like a funny car/alturd

Stupid me I looked right over the rear suspension :-[ I still like it anyway wonder who built it looks like good work! Body looks good in pic. I would like a side shot might see if I can get some pics. I would like my FED to look like that I know it's not period correct but I don't go for that look any way ;)

It is a sharp looking hotrod. I have a friend with a 150" altered. Definitely a different beast.

Randy,
Looks like you skipped first line of spec.s you see where it says 150" alterd
-
Naw I saw that just missed the rear susp. I just skimmed over the ad I was looking at the body any way it's a cool hot rod that I would own! ;)

Feds (and altereds ) are not hard to build. Put a rule book in your welder and error on the side of safety. A mild steel car does not actually cost a lot . Mostly it costs time. I have another FED chassis almost finished. Keeps me out of the house during the day. Of course it depends on the build too. A car for fun and enjoyment may be different then a world beater deal. We figure on about $500 to $600 in materials including front axles build Doesnt seem to matter if it is an altered (built a Hemi Jeep Altered a couple of years ago) or a FED. cost is about the same. Some would not have a mild steel car. Sorry for your loss. :) I am more comfy welding mild steel and it is readily available here so for a hobby fun car tis fine and will last longer than most of us will.
