Dom thanks I appreciate the info ;)  why does the 302 piston give too much compression I run all my cars on alky this one will be a drunk too ;D I know that a 240 head is what is recomended but with decking or the 390 pistons what compression would it have? I don't have a head you know wher I might locate one I have the shortblock?  Thanks again! If you would rather private message me that's ok!

Stupid me I looked right over the rear suspension  :-[ I still like it anyway  wonder who built it looks like good work! Body looks good in pic. I would like a side shot might see if I can get some pics. I would like my FED to look like that I know it's not period correct but I don't go for that look any way ;)

I have bracket raced almost 40 years had some success and won a track championship chased points too and won the deal but I won't do it again the day before every race I would almost get sick thinking about the points :-[ Thought if I missed one race it was a sin like to run me nuts {Well my wife says I am any way} Bracket racing is tough you need lotsa luck and some skill also patience helps alot too. I am building a FED if it ever gets finished to run brackets I just want to go toe to toe with the Rear engine cars (I had one great car butjust another dragsteonly difference mine had a Ford motor ??? The FED I am building now is gonna have a 300 inline six Ford on alky won't be fast but kinda different 8)  What ever you decide have fun with it and good luck keep us posted!

I love it ;)  Who makes that nose if you don't mind me asking? Also like the solid front axle I don't
care for the torsion front myself although some do! My FED will have a solid axle also pretty narrow just my preferance I like em tucked ;D  Keep taking pics as you go love the build have you decided on a body yet?  Same tire on mine also I have some American Trac stars 15x14 with the 10.5x33!!!

Those V Series Welds will look nasty on that car 8)

Roo Man's Room / Roo Man Nostalgia T/Fuel question?
« on: May 14, 2013, 11:10:13 PM »
Why do these engines have so much cackel to them seems like the modern fuel motor idles more tame or am I hearing it wrong! Love it when they burnout then it comes back to idle ;D 8)

Also what width wheel do they use i know the tire is a 12in. spec for the class but looks like maybe a 10 in. wheel  :-\

Also A/Fuel does the injected cars run nitro and blower alky?????

 Enjoy        ;)
