Anyone ever use a spacer to have a better field of vision in a FED?

Front Engine Dragsters / Backing up and staging straight.

Hey guys!
We been having a bit of an issue backing the car and staging the car straight after the burnout.
The FED is blown and I can’t see the frontend.
Any advice?!

As the weather hasn’t been very good and my dragster process has slowed. There has been some fun.
1. Got a minor sponsorship with redline oil

Finally got clear on the dragster pretty much done, need to sand some bugs out and buff but I'm happy with it. Although I'm biased and have low standards lol

I have never done much of this type of paint this is my 5th little project.
Took a while. I’m still learning as I go and I’m definitely not a great pinstriper.
But check it out, lemme know what ya think.
Also, I know it’s technically not a FED but I wear this helmet when I drive my FED.

I'm not sure but I think BBC rocker arms have measurements just ask and I'll send
