You might look at Shoenfeld Headers (? ) web site - lots of oval track headers and parts.  I have used them for plates and u bends.

It's an age old situation.
But.......after you get through bolting all the weight on the front end,  you'll be asking your self why you ever worried about a couple of pounds. ::)
That's just my 78 year old opinion .  You build it the way you want it.......... :)
PS....we carry 52 lbs on the front of a 225 inch dragster with an injected sbc...?.....~JL~

Wanted to sell / Re: SBC Zoomies

Had a message asking how much these headers are 'swept back' .

A Bunch:  From vertical (with protractor on 90 degrees )  they are 164 degrees .
From horizontal  (with protractor on 180 degrees) they are 16 degrees.
.
Using my old protractor used in sheet metal work.
Not sure that makes since ?

We didn't have any luck posting pictures on here.
Can try sending by e mail if need be.
Thanks............~JL~

I completely understand !  There has to be a place to stop spending.  It's suppose to be fun,  if you get yourself in a bind, it's no longer fun.
Hope you have a lot of fun with it, it's a real nice car.
 :)......~JL~

None of my business, but......might make it a 'shorty' with a funny car drive shaft. Makes them real easy to take in and out. (Just More Money)  Or......might get in touch with Rick Marshall and find out what he used in it.
Good Luck / Have Fun............~Johnnie Laird~....... :)

Just noticed it has our file name below the picture, that is not accurate.
Our filing system leaves a little to be desired.
Thanks for looking
