Hey Roo...... I've never understood where the term came from.
Why are they called "Burn Down" Tubes?

Here is the new FIE Supermag 5 (boosted to 8 amps primary) fitted to the Fossil Fueler injected nitro digger. The huge red monster coil had to be moved to the steering cross brace because it would not fit in the old position, beside the clutch can.

We fired her up once with an extra 5% b/v leak, and it still looks dry. So we'll add another 5% and ........GO TESTING! Cant wait. The extra fuel and spark should wake her up off the line....hahahahaha

Finally. The Fossil Fueler A/Fuel digger has been christened at the Willowbank Dragstrip in Australia.

Front Engine Dragsters / Fossil Fueler faces the tree - licensing

Greetings from Australia.
Our new a/fuel digger has successfully completed the first stage of licensing in Australia.
You can view photos and videos via our facebook page - just search for " Fossil Fueler" on face book.
It was a pretty lazy day because all we are allowed to do on the first day is start, stage and launch. Next Time we can go half and full track.......yippppeee!

Events / Woodburn Oldies but Goodies

I hear there is an event 21 - 23 June at Woodburn. A couple of years ago I was at Woodburn when Kin Bates and Gene Adams ran a 6.11 with their A/Fueler, using a 17 gallon pump (non sanctioned event). This year I hear Gene intends to use  a Vertex magneto (internal coil) to test the new B/Fuel rules. I know there is a large contingent of FEDs running in that area, and I would hope some of them will support the B/fuel concept.

Are any of our board members going to this event?

I wish I could get back there to watch and learn some more, but with my new car ready for testing in Australia, I'll be blowing the money out the pipes closer to home.
