Title: Cranking compression and nitro
Post by: masracingtd1167 on May 29, 2018, 01:27:51 PM
Speaking about cranking compression I am wondering what others have with injected nitro ? I retarded my cam and went from 225 to 190 and the next step is to tighten up on my lash but I don't know what is too high or low !

I have run 20% with 225  my actual CR is about 13.7:1
My long term plan is build about an 11:1 short block with big cam and run around 50%
all of this vs. starting over with a blower

Intake valve closing point and static compression need to be considered together.
