Milan dragway in Milan Mi, is having a  Nostalgia Weekend Sept 26 and 27. Cars must be 1990 and older. Qualifing runs and first rd Sat. Finish event Sun. Classes range from street/ sportsman to Index heads-up  and will also have blown alcohol funnycay exabition runs. More info milan dragway facebook page and milain dragway.com

Hey Guy's,  Just started playing with the timing after switching to alcohol, add was wondering where you are at. C hecked the timing after switching to alcohol end of last yr , and was at 28  degrees. 8)Bumped it up to 36 this last weekend and did' t see any marked change.  Plugs looked good, 2 treads and witness mark on the corner of the strap. Any thoughts? My combo is a 415 sb mopar with Indy alum.  heads, 12.8:1 CR with a . 590 flat tappet cam and an enderle dual toilet on a tunnel ram.

Front Engine Dragsters / Frame recert.

Any one having any trouble with getting their car recertified?  Just had mine done and have to add a couple bars to the cage. I guess feds are getting to popular so the powers that be are updating the rules for chassis cert.  Just wanted to give peple a headsup if you need to recert soon. Would'nt have really cared about anding the bars to mine if I had'nt just spent a grand on striping and repowder coated the frame.

Roo Man's Room / Set-up for better 60' ?

     Ok guys, lookin around the site and  think my set-up is really lacking in 60' compared to alot of others. Granted I need more test passes to see what the car likes, but just wondering what you guys thinks for basic set-up and and how close or far off I may be.
   Here is my setup so far.
170" wb flexable flyer, motor set 30" out 
1583 lbs w/ driver  18/82  front to rear weight bias
415 12.8/1 cr smallblock mopar est. 600hp on gas
1.76 shorty glide 5200 stall 8" custom coan convertor
4.30 gears
33x12 m&h set 6.5 psi
35 lbs ballest and 5' single wheel wheelie bar  set at 3"
Launching @ 3800 to 4000 w/ transbrake-per coan
 
 Best 60' has been a 1.22 but averages 1.25 to 1.30' depending on track prep.
Currently converting to injected alcohol.
If any more info needed is needed let me know and any help is great.
