Roo Man's Room / Tach with Mag & Rev Limiter
« on: February 10, 2020, 11:44:55 AM »
Changing over to Mag and using FIE rev limiter with MSD SW & 2 step
1) can the Tach or shift light be run off the Crank trigger somehow? Or do we have to use a pulse signal activator.
2) In either case should we use solid core  or suppression wires.
Thank You
Dennis

We purchased the FIE  rpm limiter relay along with the switch. The mag we have is joe hunt internal coil. Can We get a little help with the suggested point of connection for the positive and negative wires at the mag. The only external connection is the ground lug correct? In the flat bottom we never ran a limiter. Seemed like a good idea at the time! I guess?  Thank you

We don’t have any info yet on how the car leaves, squat etc... the bar is a single wheel and almost 7 foot . We are newbies formally boat guys. This is all new to us. The car came with the that size tires so we just replaced them with new. We welcome any input that will help us. This was a project that my son and I started with pops who passed away just as we were completing the car. my experience was on water pop raced on asphalt and was our leader. We miss him but I know he wants us to carry on. So we will give it our best. We  Thank you for any and all advise

Jon, Thank You for taking the time to educate. I was thinking more of a portable chiller I should have been more specific.  We previously ran a Flat Bottom Boat so this is new to us and appreciate any advice we can get. We have crossed paths at the track in fact you sold me my front wheels and tires, Thank Again!

First we are beginners. Just finished the car and we are building a chiller. Can we get a little help on connection? Do we connect input to each head an exit out the top of the manifold?
