just got myself a RCD blower starter;;can't afford a RCD battery pack at this time ;IF I go with full size batterys then what type [deep cycle marine/rv or lead acid std or ???] and then how much Cranking amps do they need to be?they got to be mounted on back of golf cart so tight for space so there again person got starter from said he only used 36 volts and it started his car fine but would there be a big difference if I had the room to go to 48 volts?another thing;;if you have 4 12 volt batterys that is 500 cranking amps each and you hook them up so to get 48 volts then does that make them 2000 cranking amps then?

haven't got that fare yet;;if I end up using car batterys then just unhook and charge each batt separate with my shop charger;;if go with batt pack then i'd need to get a 36 volt or 48 volt charger for maybe whants used on a electric golf cart

called defender today and they said be $270 back to me recert;;they didn't say anything about trade-ins;;i'm sort of getting it free almost;;a case of beer and one of my t-shirts is all he said he wanted for it.the woman I talked to didn't know if the SFI 38.1 was what NHRA//IHRA required me to wear or not;;just don't want to spend the $270 if NHRA won't accept it for me to use in my AA/FA

We have the same issue.  I called ISP and in about 5 minutes had a rear helmet pad ordered.  Give them a call.

on your pad;;when you all suited up and straped in does your helmet sit against pad or is there a space?how you go about telling them how thick pad needed to be?I'm new to all this so I have no ideal on this kind of stuff..never drove a car with this kind of g-force on launch so all a big issue;;my door cars never had enough sh#@ in them to worry about head slaming back against cage and knocking my out..lol..will be wearing neck support[hans device]and a chine strap on front of helmet before get back into car if that makes any difference;any pics of what ISP made for you?how much cost to have them do one for you?darksidefuelaltered@gmail.com

Harley, I have a headrest in my altered, it's an older Taylor unit and it's about 3 inches thick:

THANKS FOR PIC;;THAT IS WHAT I WAS THINKING I NEEDED;;WHEN YOU SITTING IN CAR SUITED UP AND CAR STAGED THEN DOES YOUR HEAD REST AGAINST IT ARE IS THERE SPACE BETWEEN YOUR HELMET AND PAD?AS STATED IN MY OLD POST ON THIS ISSUE MY HEAD WAS BEING SUNG BACK VERY HARD WHEN I TRY TO LANCH CAROFF LINE..THIS IS WHY I FELT NEEDED A HEAD REST;;WANT TO GET PLAT BUILT TODAY AND GET A MESUREMENT AS TO HOW THICK PADDING NEEDS TO BE ON IT;DIDN'T KNOW IF SHOULD HAVE HEAD BACK AGAINST IT AT LANCH OF CAR OR SHOULD BE SOME SPACE BETWEEN HELMET AND IT?I DID PUT A CHINE STRAP ON HELMET AND WILL BE WEARING HANS DEVICE FROM NOW ON;;DIDN'T HAVE THESE AT TIME I TOOK CAR OUT WHEN FOUND OUT BARS WAY BACK FROM HELMET
