Had my garage was broken into and most of my parts stolen. My State Farm Homeowners policy refused to pay anything because  my altered >:( >:( is not a licensed street vehicle. Who are you guys using?

Don't forget to put oil in it too. Had a friend do that and couldn't figure out why he had no oil pressure after starting it. Thought it was a sender and messed up his fresh engine.

I would not change it. If it was working before why change it? Too many variables when doing such a change. You will be spending more time changing things than what you will gain. I tried this on a  D/ED in the 70's and ended up putting it all back on. Just my 2 cents worth.

I keep reading this about TECH inspectors and I wonder WHO hires these people and what makes them qualified? Safety IS first but common sense should be in there somewhere. Just because they have a title of TECH INSPECTOR does not mean they know what they are doing.I have seen this in the area that I live, both in drag racing ang dirt track racing.Some certification should be involved instead of just showing up and saying I will do it.

Cool looking car. What are you using for the throttle pedal assembly? Looks like cable comes out the back and loops around behind. I need sometning like it for my altered that I am working on.
