Front Engine Dragsters / Re: Making that first run in your new car

I seen the wreck this weekend also. It could have been WAY WORSE! If it would have went over the wall it could have been really bad. My buddy has spent the last couple of weeks painting the car and never got a picture with it together. We where going to do it after that pass. So if anybody has any pictures could you please send them to me. Unfortunate Lessons learned.

Hello all, I have never posted a build before so bare with me. My plan is simple. TE-440 120" WB ,300 ford inline ,stick ,35 spline 9", piecrust slicks ,early ford straight axle. We have a couple of stick shift only classes around here so why not. I think I have picture posting figured out we will see.

I'm in the building process. So I can move the motor were it needs to be in moderation. Thought there might be a rule of thumb. I figured you might have had to rework a car or two.  Looking for wisdom.

Roo, what kind of weight percentage should be on rear wheels on 115" wheelbase dragster? I have weight scales available. Under 300hp stick shift.
