Title: high gear with nitro

Any real downside to running high gear only with heavier loads of nitro other than heat in trans?

In that top dragster... It makes about 2800hp. The heat is the only real draw back. It gets very very hot. Goes through clutches somewhat often, but not tooo often. About every 2 races.
It isn't as violent down low but I don't even think that's a draw back.
The other thing is the way Matt reinvented the trans brake it can be activated in any gear so gotta be a little careful.
Think ultimately kinda just depends on setup. It works for in that top dragster with a Ford motor though.

High gear only is fine as long as dumba-- driver does not screw the safety up in the delay box.HOW DO I KNOW? Like I have always said safety is over rated.when you think you are safe it is getting dangerous. If you can not run delay box then I would have a switch to keep stupid from happening.
