Sooo I sit here wondering and wonder if anyone has experience.
I got a 3.75 stroke crank
6 inch aluminum rod
Small base circle cam
Standard sbc dart little m
Anybody know if the rods will hit the cam? Any advice? Thanks

Not sure if they will hit with a small base circle . I know mine would hit with a large base circle with a 3.625 stroke . I had the rods cam clearanced at MGP . The best thing you can do is dummy assemble it and check . Try advancing the cam till it hits then try retarding it . If it will go a few degrees either way without hitting you will be fine . On my new motor I am going to use a Honda rod to give myself a little more room !

Probably will need a .900 base cam to clear--cam has to be degreed close to where it will run to check--
.900 base units look spooky thin but I have run them with giant spring pressures and no issues
You can always clearance the rods but it needs to be Pro done ( I use a mill)

Thanks y’all, I do have a .900 base circle cam already so I’ll cross my fingers until I can start assembly to find out for certain

***update***
Was able to do some work on the motor this Saturday.
I put in the cam, crank, And the#1 and #2 rod and..... They both hit the cam lobes.
So naturally I'm thinking about cutting the rods so it would clear.
What's the proper technique on going about doing so?
Any help very much appreciated.
