300" ford in a 2008 neil and parks car. Best et 7.21 @184.
Car is forsale and the motors can be as well if someone is interested.

Killer car Pat. I've been a fan for a few years now. Did you just take delivery of a new altered? Best of luck out there.
-
Thanks!
Yes we have a new altered that we will be running in j/a. Same motor/trans combo just a lot shorter car.
Should be fun.

Pat,
Nice video, love the sound of that motor. I use to hang out at YB by the user name nln6pinto.

Do you have a 180 degree crank in that 6? It sure has a cool sound!

:( Being an inline-6, it better be a 120-deg crank!

These V8 minded guys...??? All good Paul, thanks for the chuckle.
I'm passionate for the harmony and melody of six-bangers. Naturally aspirated diesels sound amazing too, but they're rare these days...

Actually, since two pistons arrive at TDC at the same time you could just custom grind a camshaft so that the valves on the two paired cylinders (i.e., 16, 52, 34) actuate in unison you would achieve the same effect as a flat plane crank in a V8.
