Well we made it to the track, tomorrow we will see if it will run down the track

Well I have really been busy. We did make it to the track.
On our second time trial we discovered water leaking from the rear of the right head.
After much scratching of our heads we discovered that the head bolt in that location was bottomed out.
Put a second head bolt washer under the bolt head and that fixed the problem.
Thought that was a great idea and I should do it for the rest of the bolts on the head, not so much.
Pulled the threads out of the block on one of the bolts.
I had a set of main cap studs, found one that was just the right length and screwed that in an was able to torque it up.
I have ordered a complete set of head studs and will replace the bolts with studs before the next race, which is in just two week, ho my gosh, two weeks!
I gave the first round away.
I had an .008 reaction time, would have had the by in the next round.
Had him on the tree, 60 foot, 330 foot, 1/8 mile 1000 foot, thought I was going to break out, lifted, and he went by my by .015 seconds.
I have been kicking my self for the last two days.
I am sort of caught up now and will start paying attention to the forum again.
