I need to move methanol from 55 gallon drums to the 5 gallon jugs. Wondering what pump types people are using?
Thanks, Chuck

Hi Chuck:
Say FWIW think about a barrel turner. I got one for 25 bucks off of Craigslist.
Handy addition for garage and you can still keep a little pump on trailer for emergency.
Also we use pumps like this at work. Thought about buying one for myself. We run nasty chemicals through these and never seen an issue in years of use. Little slower then rotary vane but something to keep in mind with those is the impeller gets stiff and breaks down.
Link for ref only I believe we bought ours through fisher scientific.

Theres always the 3 guy option.......two guys on barrel and one collecting... ;) Don't always spill...... :o ;D

This is the one I would get. http://www.harborfreight.com/12-gpm-air-operated-barrel-pump-93755.html
I bought one of the plastic ones from Facebook and it cost as much and does not come with the hose, does not have a regulator or safety valve. Waste of money. Ended up costing nearly $100 and still inferior. The one above from harbor Freight is a better deal.
