I'm adding EGTs to the dragster. Is there a preference on EGT location? Short side of radius? long side of radius (aka top or bottom of zoomies)? How far from port or exh valve?

Great first outing.  Yes on the visor.  Make sure it clicks closed.  Oil is hot, fire is hotter.

I have a standard Ford 9" in my digger, i run 2 qts of AMSoil Severe Duty 75-90w in it. 

I do not have blow back bars on my car (7.60 SBC/Glide, 200" car), never had an issue with motor plates, etc.

when i had a primer, i too had the solenoid/click clack pump. worked well.  mine was hooked to a gas bottle, not alcohol.  Never sucked fuel on shut down.

I would use it to flush the motor out at the end of the day too.
