Ken's cars are always detail oriented and well thought out.

Ken Keir is in Owings, Maryland.  Very innovative builder, built David Rampy's World Champion Altereds and held national records himself.  This car is built with a comp mindset, but will be raced in brackets with a high horsepower small block chevy comp type engine.

Hi Jon,
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my question.  I will have my chassis builder give you a call to discuss the slicks, we will also need front tires and spoke wheels, as we are just starting a new chassis build.

Thanks,
John

Has anyone or is it feasible to fabricate a floor in an FED that will allow use of 3-2A-5 suit instead of using the -15 suit?  I know altered drivers use the -5 suit.  Is the problem that the rear is also in the cockpit?  Your thoughts on rule interpretation?

Thanks,
john

From an un-proven combination perspective it doesn't make sense to acquire the Goodyear D2585 slicks because eventually they will be non-existent.  You're only buying yourself a year or so.  Might as well go to the Hoosier or M/T now and bite the R&D Tuning bullet now, right?

thanks,
John

I'm thinking 200"WB. I already have a full length glide and a SBC that makes about 750HP. The tire size issue seems a bit crazy too.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
What wheelbase car are you building?  I'm interested in the motor placement questions being asked.  Trying to decide if a should use a shorty or standard length glide?

thanks,
John

Do you know if the price between Rooman and Parks is comparable?

Mark,
Are you running the Hoosier's tubeless?

Thx,
John
