 just brought home Don Zig mag. with ext. coil, question, does the mag have to run ext. coil?

Stock internal coil has been removed, Quick check is to spin the mag by  hand while holding the ground lug without the coil attached. Do it over something soft and with plenty of friends around in case I am wrong about this.

You might want to substitute a spark plug tester for yourself in this test.

45 years ago would have had my little bother hold the plug wire on our minibikes! 
now I will use somebody else little bother, any takes ???
because my little bother is now 6 8 about 270. 8)
sure made for a good laugh back then ;D ;)

Back in the 70's I had a Vertex, and a friend was sitting in an easy chair with it.  Decided for some reason to give it a spin while holding it, burnt his thumb and thew the mag across the room!

Ask my very smart ___ son  in-law to hold it :P going good till the smart one walk in :o my wife  >:(
