Glen no problem. This type of racing like in the past changes by the minute ;D.
I'll post some pictures of plumbing later this week.

After I rebuilt the belt drive/pump mount we found a space issue with our Dailey oil pump. We ended up having them rebuild the oil pump and change the rotation on the pump so the pump is in front of the engine(facing it). While doing this we had them add a fuel pump mount/drive to the end of their assembly. That way we just had the one belt drive both assemblies. If the oil pump stops due to a broken belt the engine shuts off due to no fuel, seems a little safer.....
I will be sending the drive back this week. It is all cleaned up and I replaced a bad bearing assembly so it is ready to go to work as a spare for you.
Hoping this weekend works out.

Just wondering if anyone was planning to go to Famoso this weekend for the open test and tune? We are planning on being there with our FED and new engine. We have a lot of tunning to do this weekend...
Let me know if you will be there.
John

Sunday was the day we finally had the time to fire the Supercat FED with its new engine. We will try to get to Bakersfield this weekend to try it out.
We still have to get the tuning right as we are at 6900 ft.elevation here at the house. We just made sure all the new parts worked and that there were no leaks, all was good.....
Here is a quick link to last Sunday

Jeff yes I did. I am working on getting all the photos together and I should be able to relay 1 email with all the pictures and info to a good group of Historians tomorrow or Saturday AM.
I am just about done with our Fed. We should be able to fire on Saturday and possibly go to Las Vegas on Sunday.
We'll have the car in Bowling Green in 11 days, can't wait.......

I got the zoomies done finally on the Supercat... I got the tubes bent to what I needed by Ted's Fabrication  (225 digger on this forum).
This weekend we will try to get the drive-line finished and adjust all the cables.
I'll post more as I go.

Glen what size and type of supply line are you using? Could your supply be collapsing? We ran into this on the fuel car we were running.

Also here is a picture of our car with the new zoomies. More pictures in my build thread.

Jeff could you send me the pictures you have of the car? Send them and any info you have to jesupercat@yahoo.com
Are there any tags or markings besides the Tony Nancy upholstery. Also what engine if any is with it?

I'll try to help if I can.
John

Jeff from the first picture it looks to be Tony's mark in the middle.
When you get the car in your possession take a bunch of pictures of it and we'll try to get some history on the car.

Always good to save "History".

I have had this happen many time also with up to 60%. I run a mag (so with the mag grounded) I spin the engine over a few times with the fuel off. I then pull the fuel on spin the engine up and light the mag, instant light. ;D

This happened one time so bad on off on off that we  had to top off the tank before I could make a pass ::)

Front Engine Dragsters / Re: motor location

Roger welcome.

I went out and checked what my cars measure, engine plate to axle center-line:

148"FED   31",
160"FED   39",
200"FED   43.5",
I use a short powerglide and a ford 9".

All of them use the vertical tube as part of the bulkhead at the engine plate. On our 200" I had to space my engine plate forward 1/4" (due to the starter hole being to close to the up-rite) This left a gap between the plate and up-rite between 1/8"-1/4" that I sealed with a urethane epoxy to slow possible fire into the drivers compartment.

Lets see some more pictures......
