Yep found a huge one, and was planning on making a return line manifold like I have for the stack injection.

It's an altered, so it's not that far from tank to pump.  Add a filter, and the return line manifold, and it's shorter yet.

Cranks that weigh 36 pounds, modified Honda connecting rods, ceramic bearings on the front spindles, and lots of other tricks make Frank and Scott at tough pair to beat!

If you set the bottom of the frame rails at 3" at the midplate and angle to about 7" at the torsion bar up front that's a fair start.  To set engine heigth, you have to first set the rearend centerline then run a dummy shaft off the rearend that dulicates pinion centerline through the crankshaft centerline with the proper engine angle and how far out it's going to be set.

Scotty Parks runs a shorty in his car, even with his motor waaaaay out there.  Done for weight savings and to free up space in the cockpit of the digger.

Blind Mule, in a FED you will have a small weight box with the fuel tank right behind it as close to the torsion bar or front axle as you can get it for weight balance.  That subframe system that you referenced, while nice in operation, would force you to have no weight up front, a bad thing for balance in a fed.

8 3/4" Chrysler rearends were real popular, and they take less horsepower than a 9" Ford.

Putting together a 528 cu. in. Chrysler Wedge engine, Indy 572-13 heads, 8-71, Mallory III mag.  I've heard that a 60/40 split of fuel for hat/ port nozzles so that the blower stays cool and for tuneability, AN16 minimum for the fuel line, and at least a 15 gallon pump.  Is this close?

The best list is at www.flatheaddrag.com  but this could be a good place to fill in the blanks and to bring up the different organizations putting them on.

Gathering parts, going from stack injection to a blower, going from electronic ignition to a Mallory mag.  So, lot's of changes in the works.
