I just cut the old tube ends off and welded them back on.reused all the old parts.

What I did to fix mine was to keep the same OD rod, and just went with a thicker wall tube.

I think I had an A1 trans brake on my old powerglide. It would work in 1st or 2nd gear. When I screwed up and left in 2nd gear(on trans break), my ET was surprisingly very close to the same thing . Just extremely hot after the pass.

one of the problems with handling with increased speeds is due to the front end being lifted due to airflow under the chassis .

We started the car for the first time this past Saturday. One of my friends came by to watch. Afterwards he sugested that we drop off the body panels at his place so he can paint them.  :)
