That old Crower was a gift to an old friend 25 years ago. He knew about the new car & dug the Crower out and sent it back to me, he called and said he was returning something I had given him long ago. It was a surprise when I opened it & only vaguely remembered it. At that point we had to run it. We even have the original "Crower logo" debris cover for it.

A rear wing on a FED  of any real downforce MUST be mounted in front of the rear axle, mid way between motor plate and rear axle would be best. With wing behind the axle you would need a major amount of wing downforce at the front axle to counter the cantilever effect. If you mount it behind you, I suggest you keep it small & at a somewhat neutral angle.

Hi John  Some are splined at the end where the arms are held on with a nut, if so just remove the arm & install it back on at a lower angle. Others are splined at the center bolt, just remove the bolt and lower the axle while looking in the hole to see if the center rotates. you may have to re drill a new locating hole for the center bolt.

I don't have anything against a rear wing on a FED, just answered your question. I just built and installed one on my car, on the front. If you do a rear wing and want to run a heritage race, i would think that you could just remove it.

Rear wings are tabo on FED's  = side canards only. Front wing is limited as per rules.

Thanks Glenn & Ricardo for the welcome. Got a nice PM from Glenn outlining the talent that's on board.  I  have raced most of the ca. tracks  = OCIR - Irwindale = Fremont , that are now gone.  I have ran at least 10 FED's a few F/C 's and AA/FA. My friend who drove for me 30 years ago has helped me (us) build a new FED. With him back in the seat after all this time, well it just makes things seem right again. We have had the car out twice & are getting back in the groove. Going to Bakersfield for Saturday nite nitro this weekend. Yes we are going to do our part in contaminating some of the air space with 50%   Pics soon
