The only down side was the alcohol cars running in a class called "Nostalgia Fuel Altered."

I'm betting there will be close to 20 cars at the 2015 March Meet for an 8 car field.

That's great news.  I've heard there are guys reconfiguring their current cars to fit into the " nostalgia " part of nostalgia fuel altered.

I really hope to see a true class grow out of what the Bakersfield guys have started.

We're entered in the 2015 March Meet. Anyone else planning on racing there?  My guess is some of the big names will be there.

We're entered. Should be interesting, seems like several cars are starting to come out of the woodwork. Will any of the IHRA refugees show up?

I understand George Doty is going to be there with the Godzilla. Looks like a mix of fuel altereds, alcohol cars, and transformers.  We built our car to run against cars like yours so hopefully its a good weekend for real fuel altereds.

Are they going to have a maximum wheel base rule at the March Meet to rule out the funny car conversions? Also a minimum Nitro%

No.

When I talked to Blake at the Finals in 2013 he said he didn't want transformers or alcohol cars. He wanted Nostalgia looking cars. It didn't work out that way.

Word on the street is if there are more Nostalgia style cars they will weed out the transformers and alcohol cars. Take that for what it's worth.

There are some people kicking around the idea of forming a Nostalgia Fuel Altered association to build a Nostalgia Fuel Altered class.

If I wanted to run in the AA/FA class I xxxx sure would be 110" or so no wings and on Nitro. My car doesn't fit into A/fuel as I have a 3-speed and a 10-71 SSI so I don't come down to California to run A/Fuel! Oh yea plus my car is to slow any ways

Looks like Big Ray Gandy's car will be there with Jeff Utterback in the seat.  I think he calls his Fiat "Black Sunshine."

I'm guessing the guys who ran last year will be there again, Pure Heaven, Witch Doctor, Pure xxxx, of course Sullivan.  I'm not sure about any of the guys who used to run in the IHRA.
