6-71 GMC Blower and Hilborn Injection SBC
« on: February 24, 2014, 01:31:09 PM »
A 6-71 GMC blower with a like new (I don't think it was ever used) 2 port Hilborn fuel injection and original Hilborn scoop again like new. Comes with Hilborn pump # PG 150-A  sn 1-3814 and cam drive extension w/rod, 2" wide belts, 40T blower pulley, 34 T crank pulley, degreed Isky crank hub w/v-belt groove and water pump pulley (for street use w/ stock WP), Weiand front and rear covers,
Weiand CV6-71 intake manifold, 2 different idler pulley set-ups various hardware. Cert. of Authenticity from Hilborn injector was purchased new from S&S Speed Shop  in Richmond Hill NY on 6/5/67 It was a friend of mine and he was putting the blower on his Buick powered 55 T-Bird but it never happened, I bought all his stuff in 1972 and it has been sitting on the shelf all these years now health issues force me to get rid of a lot of my parts. The blower had been gone through when he had it, the guy was a machinist and very particular it is dirty and dusty now but I have not turned the blower because I would clean it first (It does turn). This is definitely a period correct piece and would go beautifully on that FED or Gasser or maybe even an early Funny car. Price is $3500.00 for everything.

Just back from "Big Al's" he did a complete tune-up and cleaning on blower and it comes with a one year warranty on blower. Cost me $500.00 for this service it's now ready to run, price is still $3500.00.

Pat,

This is a nice vintage setup and it would sure look great on my 60's FED. The price doesn't seem too bad. But as usual, that's not an ideal time for me for big check purchase.

I wish you sell it quickly, so I don't keep drooping on this ad.

if that's a nailhead intake, you will need to measure across for bolt width to figure out which size engine it fits. there are 3 different widths.

The manifold is for a "Small Block Chevy" It is a Weiand CV6-71. Sorry for any confusion.
