Since buying the RED,it,s been a full on disassembly and repair and adjust, buy new parts and get set up for the summer coming up.New tires, wiring, cables, steering couples, body mods, tranny build using a mopar torqueflight shortie, new engine mounts, and buy a new rear wing.Putting in a 452 stroker on gas for now and looking for a 1150cfm carb to run it on,and any mopar parts to make this beast go,mrmopartech

Toady we made a new dash cluster, relocated the steering higher, started setting up the new strker motor and making the brackets for the ron,s fuel injection system, and doing the lines.Need to go see some dragster parts in a town 2 1/2 hours from my place to make a deal for the parts for both our dragster for next season. All in all,it,s been a good weekend, made some cash, worked on the digger, had a few beers, well more than a few beers, and good food, great weekend,Scott/mrmopartech

Todat we where doing new motor plates front and rear, started on the 727 to turn it into a shortie drive unit with no park, but will install a line lock for the rear brakes for 30 seconds and when I get out I will throw some tire blocks to stop the rolling back.Making up new brackets for the new wing,as the old wing was a piece of crap.Removed the front tires from the rims to install new ones and clean up the rims and repolish the rims.mrmopartech/scott

You will need to get the car into a shop to have helmet bars welded into the cage to meet current SFI specs

This weekend,I am finishing the trans cooler bracket, shifter mount, cut cooling holes in the bell housing, mounting the MSD 7al-3,do some wiring, some maching on the the wing spars and sheet metal.I am looking for some side scoops for the radiator. The frame has two big triangle shape support bars and the rad behind me about 6-8 inches back of the roll cage,so I figure 2 good size scoops for air cooling, would be just right if there was a mopar scoop I cold install,as the car is being done in plum crazy purple, and being called (PLUM CRAZY) with a ralley wood grain dash.If any one has a idea for a side scoop ,post or send me a email with pics.So it,s back to the shop sunday morning to do some more work.At this point to get the car parts, trailer, motor, tranny,we are going to be at a 18-20 grand dollar count to make the first run,and do some testing,So you want to go racing on the cheap side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,mrmopartech

Getting ready to install the alcohol motor and set up the fuel system.I have been buzy setting up the new trailer for the dragster, making shelves, winch, lighting, etc. With spring cleaning going on now and trying to do motors, tranny,s and cars, there is so much spare time to work on the digger, since there is 48 hours in a day,it,s really great, and through in work and over time, recipy for burn out, mrmopartech
