I was there Thursday -Saturday and had a great time. Wish I knew you were there Bill. I would have stopped by and introduced myself. Going to the Epping Divisional?

Hey Chuck Had a great time on Thursday and Friday . It was really cool to watch the pro cars there without the big modern tower . Yes I will be at the Divisional with my son and his Top Dragster . I hope we can get to meet each other . I see Scott and Frank set a new record again . I will be with this car

Did a little more testing this past weekend with my son's car . We are trying 2 nitrous systers on it . It will make about 1500 hp with both systems . Lebanon valley was not too good very hot and humid . The altitude was 3300 ft and the track was greasy . We still managed to go 6.96 and 198 with a lot of tire shake . We are getting his car ready for the divisional at Epping . As soon as this race is over we will be out with my car .

A little bit of a setback with my sons car . Leaked it down and had 60 percent leakage in 1 cylender took it apart and found crushed ring land . Too much fuel you can do more damage from too rich than too lean !

Bill,

Looks like your going to need that blower deal you asked about while back. Sons quicker than you are now and with shake. Bolt on a lung and you will change that.

Oh no, I'm sorry to see it Bill. Detonation signs anywhere? Partially clogged injector perhaps?

This was on my son's car . We have been running nitrous for 5 years and never had a problem like this . We were trying to be on the safe side and ran it a little rich . It turns out that being too rich is worse than being too lean ! We are trying to figure this all out as we do not want this to happen again but as of right now we think it was too much fuel

Only one piston hurt? How does the cylinder bore(s) look like? Would ball-hone clean it up?
