We got the chassis certificated this weekend and we're ready to fire up our testing engine next weekend.
The body looks black but it's dark blue.  The wing is not installed in this photo.

I have been thinking.Almost always gets me in trouble. Since I made the fed so that the whole front end past motor can be pulled away. Leaving me with motor back. I can build another front end for it and have both altered/roadster and fed. Only thing would be how many altereds do you see with driver behind axle? Could be interesting. Altered with motor 50" out and 220# hanging out back of rearend.Might need co pilot to ride on front end to keep it on ground, any volunteers?

Looking good. You know about the new NHRA rear wing rule, correct? Looks like your struts are less then 6"

No struts.  The front is directly bolted to the top of the cage.  The rear has a couple inches of adjustments, but no struts.

That wing was built in the early 70's, we reinforced the cm tubing inside.

Thanks, there's a lot of hard word in that car.

There's a video on our Facebook page of the test engine running.
