Death Dealer is an iconic 1973 fantasy painting by Frank Frazetta. It depicts a menacing armor-clad warrior with a horned helmet, whose facial features are obscured by shadow, atop a horse, holding a bloody axe and shield. Wikipedia

The car went by the name death dealer before the guy I bought it from.  I'm trying to find out who owned it in the 70's. then they can tell me who they got it from.

Is a slow proses, and I want to thank the guys on this site for helping to find its history.

Jeff yes I did. I am working on getting all the photos together and I should be able to relay 1 email with all the pictures and info to a good group of Historians tomorrow or Saturday AM.
I am just about done with our Fed. We should be able to fire on Saturday and possibly go to Las Vegas on Sunday.
We'll have the car in Bowling Green in 11 days, can't wait.......

John good luck with that fine looking dragster this weekend.  And thanks for your help.

Any I'd on the chassis builder?

i haven't found any tags on the chassis I'm stripping the paint off it now hopping to find any stamping on it. Someone spent some time painting the frame, gold base coat with candy red for final coat.

I think it was a local bracket type dragster name.  I wish I could find a persons name.  The name Mack is painted on the inside of a side panel.

I hope a local photographer named Bill Truby has a pic of it. He has a lot of old photos from keystone dragway and another old drag strip in bridgeville pa.

That's my next step.  From the look of the paint it has a candy red with I imagine is a really nice gold base. I can't figure out the color that the  name and the horse are painted on.

The gold base would have looked good all by its self.
