Well it has been a while and finally working on dragster again, thought i would share a few pictures.
If it jams force it, if it breaks it needed replaced anyways

I took my hotrod to Bakersfield for the final ANRA race, the Fuel & Gas Finals.  It was a good day.

Got my trans, steering, etc all reinstalled yesterday.  Waiting on zoomies to come back from getting coated, then we'll fire it up and do a systems check.

Almost race time.

Looking good! Does the trans need blowback containment devices or does the driveshaft housing collar suffice?

Lblowback containment devices

I've never ran them, but i'm adding them for piece of mind.  Car doesn't 60' hard, and i've never had an issue with motor plates.

Car's in & tight.  Hoping the warm(er) weather shows up tomorrow so we'll have some type of racing surface.

If anyone's in Sac area, stop by and say hi.

Took her out for Valentine or that what wife said. Went to Shriner's drag expo car show. Got tones of questions. If had 1 for every question or comment about sitting on reare end housing I would run Top Fuel, well for little while anyway. LOL HAd lots telling me how cool it was and loved it not being the same cookie cutter rea engine. Lots of doubts about bracket racing it but hey thats big part of the fun of doing it right?

It was a good day testing. Made two laps.  Had a couple cameras on the car.

I run against the NE/1 index (7.60).  First run was 7.603/177, second run, it paddled the tire a big, ran 7.637, Track got really good and just didn't bring enough wheel speed.  oops.
