I got my 65 Woody JF 7.50 cert this week.
Can't wait to get it on the track.  Next step is making the stacks for the injection......

Bill, car looks great...I see you have zoomies back!
Hi John I put the zoomies on to run 7.00 because of the rules but I am really not sure if they are hurting me that much ! The 7.18 was the best it has run on motor and it was wicked hot ! I am going to put a little weight back on the front of the car because it is carrying the front end too far . I had to lift in the second round because it got out of the groove . Hard to drive if it won't steer ! Did you get your car to go straight again ?

Getting our Supercat ready to go have some fun September 10th at Winterport Maine at a "Gassah Guys" nostalgia event. Looking forward to it as it is the first race event this year. We relocated back to central Maine for my job and Florida was much to humid for my health. Never mind sitting in the sun in a fed waiting for my turn to make a run.......
2 weeks ago I went to a show with the car and drove the cat in to the show ;D. I put about 20-25 younger people in the car during the show. If you don't spark interest in our youth the things we enjoy will fade away....  We also won a 1st place with the Cat.
Now I just need to have a tune up for the weather and conditions up here.

Went to the track today to do some testing for next weekend.  I had been trying to get the tune up figured out . First pass( 1/8 mile track) 5.23 good enough for second quickest/fastest 139. Shut down is bumpy so I ended up pulling the chute to keep it straight.
Next pass increased air pressure in the back and put in 8 next smaller jets at the intake runners. Went out and crushed the rear tires and then hit the wheelie bar hard. Tires wadded up and then released and the car carried the front hard on the bar. Had to get off at the top of first to stay in the lane..
I'm thinking I'll add another 20-25lbs to the nose to help the balance.
Any thoughts?????
I was there by myself for the first time racing this car since 08 no wife ,kids, or crew/friends. Still a fun day just lonely

I am looking at switching to Enderle injection with a Birdcatcher for 2017. I ran 5.26 in the 1/8 with a 1050 gas carb 434 cu set up. Should be a fun fast ride, which it is already . I can then sell my carb. set up and Spike radiator that I will not need.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, I hope this is a great year for everyone. Last year I decided to retire from racing as I'm not able to handle the heat any more, so the outfit is for sale. you can see it in the recent issues of the National Dragster, it's the short wheelbase car with the 25inch wide cage, or craigslist Minneapolis at cars and trucks. Put in dragster and it will come up. All my best to everyone for this year and I hope some racer my size is interested. Mark Midler
