Have sbc in FED,plug #8 and #7 hit top frame rail. Need to lift motor to remove! Have put in accel plugs, still about two threads from coming out.Is there any shorter plugs? Any help would be appreciated.

They don’t make any shorter plug than the accel plugs that I know of.  Put some pictures up of the situation I’m thinking just cut a notch in the tube and weld a filler in there or move the engine position. Post some photos

If the plug wire connection "nipple" on the end of your plugs unscrews from the spark plug (some do some don't) would that come off first to add a bit of clearance for the rest of the plug? Just a thought......and in my case that can be dangerous or useless.

Not the cheap fix, but angle plug heads make that problem go away.
