How to determine what spindles I have
« on: September 06, 2020, 05:53:53 AM »
OK, let’s get this party started.    How do I tell what spindles I have on my 32 Bantam 125 inch altered chassis?   Built at Advanced Chassis in the 80’s.   I will call them Tuesday but  thought maybe I could get the answer before then.
 Any help is appreciated.

What’s the process to post a picture?

I found a little info .    Should  have done my homework before this post.
The spindles say CSPE on the top plate.

On the spindle, where the outer bearings ride just behind the axle nut, the Anglia is approximately .625 diameter, the Strange is .750 diameter.

On the nut end dia .625" [5/8"] is Anglia, and .750" [3/4"] is Early Ford, the lenght are different too.
BTW as per NHRA wire spoke wheels are not allowed on alters or dragsters that over 1800 lbs [ no driver]
