Prism decal graphics wanted
« on: August 28, 2020, 01:37:22 PM »
Hey all,
I acquired a 32 Bantam altered and I am looking for that prism decal material that changes colors as it moves.
Anyone still have some of this stuff from the 70’s or newer stuff?  Decal was soo cool going down the tracks at night past the light poles...

Also, I can’t get the old glue off the body to save my butt... tried thinner, goo gone, wd40... I’m about to get the sander out and destroy a great paint job.
Any help is appreciated.

John

Ask Dallas Brown from the AHRA.  He just found a source to do his decals.

Try the 3M Eraser Wheel.  I've used it on a modern car and it works well, no paint damage.  Keep your speed down and keep moving over the glue.  Here's a link:

Are you looking for a specific decal or sheets of material? I got 2 small rolls of it from E bay to do the side trim of an Impala. They had it up to 12 inches wide.

Sheets of material I suppose.

I will try out that 3m stuff too and see if the glue comes off.
Thanks for the info guys.
