Hey Dave,
Educate me a bit please. I have a spare 'glide newly done but with no trans brake solenoid - I had just planned to swap over my old one when a trans swap became necessary. But I have the longer skinnier solenoid. Will this solenoid interchange directly (same actuator rod, etc)? Or will I need additional stuff to make it work? Thanks.

Two main types depending on the maker of your valve body--one has more travel than the other --all about who made you valve body--The BTE, TCI, and Most use the short Pancake style solenoid--Some like the Coan and couple others use the long style solenoid  consult your VB maker --but many if not most use this style
Thanks
