sfi sticker on trans
« on: October 22, 2018, 06:03:23 PM »
does the sfi sticker have to be physically on the trans and bell housing?  when i got my trans, they just left them loose on a tag.  if so, whats a good way to ensure they will attach to the rough finish?

A lot of racers keep them in a folder and just show them to the tech inspector !

All of the new stuff coming out of Reid Racing has the stickers attached to a tag and they tell you to keep it with you to show the tech inspector. For tags already on we have had good luck using clear finger nail polish to paint over them.

Flex plates are shipping this way too.  I take pics, and keep pics on my laptop, and the sticker goes in my binder inthe trailer.
