New Keith Black block
« on: February 28, 2018, 06:01:23 PM »
Just thought I would share pics of my new KB block after a few years of waiting.
If it jams force it, if it breaks it needed replaced anyways

Wow - that looks tough.
Does it have any cooling passages? I do not see any water pump, deck, or core plug holes. It must be one massive chunk of aluminum.

It is kinda a one off deal, It is a low deck wedge solid block. No cooling passages. Looks like the new owners of KB are making a run at it and are going to start pumping out blocks. This block is one of the first new ones with many changes. I am very happy for sure...

i think those pics are still at manufacture's place.  but i bet when he gets it and wipes his 'mess' off it he will put some up.  gonna have to get him a box of tissue.  he'll have it polished up quickly haha.

Nice piece, then KB has been industry std. for long time.Glad to see they are making blocks again. Need to see if they are doing cranks also.Always had their cranks and good luck with them.

KB has been bought out and they are now doing the work in Michigan, unless Ken Black starts doing stuff on his own I do not think there will be anything but blocks being built. The block was loaded on a truck and shipped today. I should see it in a week or so and I will post more pictures.
