Ram tube question. Probably stupidest question ever.
« on: February 07, 2018, 07:59:03 AM »
On my car the ram tubes just slip over another tube that's clamped into the intake.  Should i buy new tubes or do i glue them or clamp them?

we had that set up on a old hilborn stack injection, we used electric tape. Had no problems on beer, but when we put little juice to the beer the tape did not like it. One  of the tubes  (at that time) we thought it when a mile in the air, it did go over the grand stands, that's may story and i'm sticking to it
 just ask AMANDA LOL     8)

It's hard to tell from this picture but the upper ran tubes bottom is expanded to slip over the lower.

We manufacture those Spun Aluminum Ram Tubes, to fit over 3" OD Tubing.   Either pop rivet them or glue with a dab of epoxy.   www.Alkydigger.com   615-457-3192      put Bells in search bar to find them .

Epoxied mine.  Worked great, but permanent.

You can disassemble and change lengths if you install rivets.
