Trans shield re-cert
« on: March 25, 2017, 09:43:21 AM »
Can anyone give me info on getting my TCI Powerglide shield re- certified?  I can't find anything on there website, and when I try to send a message an error occurs.  Any help would be great.    Thanks

They usually dont re-cert them because its cheaper to buy a new one. Aftermarket cases get recerted because of the cost of them new.
Just like a SFI flex plate will cost you boxing and shipping, recert, and shipping back to you is going to cost you $75 for a $50 part new

Agreed not worth the hassle to send in, they will do it, you will have to call them to start the process.

Talked to TCI, Re-cert cost is $25.00 plus the ride.  Just thought I would let you know.
