I have made adapt style motor plates early hemi to glide.
JW transmission offers a seperate bellhousing 392 to PG, but requires another adapt piece (no pic in catolog) and then the 2 issues of a starter and crank to flexplate spacer while using a .250 motorplate.
If running a blower, a blower starter eliminates those issues.

JW sales a bell flywheel . FTI sales a case, bell and flywheel combo for 1300 I think is what Greg told me.JW setup bolts to front of pump. JW stuff works but its heavy.Man is it heavy.

Biggest issue is that the 392 dowels are inboard of the mounting flange (note on my pic the 2 holes above the 2" vent holes) so one will still need some type of adapt plate to line up the trans to crank.
Some Manuf have adapt plate kits, but are not suited to dragsters/altereds because they open the plate for the flywheel and you loose to much regidity when you cut them down to fit the narrow frame rails. When they come up with these parts , front engine dragsters never enter their thought process--- very limited market of an already limited market.
