Try Racing Junk . A header for a tube chassis car should be good for an altered .

Check out Shoenfeld. The link should take you to the page you want.

They will fit but they will stick out quite a ways.

So you are saying they make a header that is not a zoomie? Man what will they come up with next?
Relecting obama is like shooting right foot because it did not hurt enough when you shot left foot

I have tried sprint car headers and they don't stick out far enough to clear the body

If you follow the link I have a set of these forsale. I thought they stuck out too far on mine. May be what you are looking for.
They include 31/2" collectors and adapter plates. They are coated but show a little rust through the coating.

I got a set of DynaTech weld up headers for my Altered and a friend welded them up for me.  They have nice bends and was easy to move where I wanted them before welding.  On my car the old Hedman headers hit the steering bar and my new headers fit great. When you weld them up you can make sure they fit like you want before you weld anything. Similar to these.
